Acrylic on Canvas
Since 1982 using acrylic/silkscreen techniques on the canvas, D’Alkmin began to funding comics, publicity pieces, television, photography and many other languages in a intense cromo/textural research associated to the gesture and the overlaying of reticules on very specific canvas where the pictorial field requires tactile property.
Sizes of 100cm x 100cm, 120cm x 120cm, 1,40com x 1,40cm signed in the back of the canvas.
Lithography
The monotypical lithography series where elaborated between 1982 and 1988. Researching the lithography stone and applying a photo-sensitive base D’Alkmin inserted layers on the canvas allowing the register of pixels plus the gesture and the application of a plan reticule transition.
Signed and numbered in pencil, 40cm x 30cm until 100cm x 70cm.
Graphic Design
Collaborating with publishing companies and advertizing/marketing agencies as a freelancer artist D’Alkmin developed illustrations between 2000 and 2010. Combining digital techniques in a 2D and 3D space with the conventional drawing resulted in a different languages in magazines and digital medias.
Gicleé Prints
Digital and pictorial research initiated in 1999 as works in high resolution in different supports woven fabrics, paper, video.
Concrete, the synthesis of the mandala in the construction of the object in D’Alkmin’s artworks prepares the singularity of the form, the impossible object, trans-plan geometric compositions and the complexity in tessellation, applying quantum phenomenology in the plastic event.
